1. When sight casting for bonefish, redfish,
tarpon, permit, polarized sunglasses are a must!
2. Long sleeve shirt and pants of light
cotton in the Summer protect you from intense sunlight and bugs.
3. Sunscreen - high SPF
4. In the Winter, a jacket is needed on
cool days in an open boat.
5. Food and Drinks- I have a cooler with
ice.
Please do not bring
a cooler. We are limited with space.
6. Hat w/dark underside brim.
7. Tackle, if you choose to bring:
Fly fisherman for bonefish,
redfish - 8 or 9 wt. rods w/matching reel with 200 yards of backing capacity.
If tarpon fishing, 11 or 12 wt. rods and reels with 300 yds of backing.
I'll supply leaders and flies. If bringing light spin tackle for bonefish
or redfish, a 7' spinning rod and reel suited for 10# test w/200 yards
of 10 # line and good drag system.
8. The desire to catch fish and have a
good time on the water. I'm a patient guide who works hard, with no stress
or screaming.
